Because you can't get good plastics and a lot of engine parts are NLA I decided to do minimum necessary to get running.
Left the reed valves in because they work fine and the engine has plenty of power for the type of riding that I do, that saves rejetting as well. Reed valves out of Kwaka jet ski can be cut down to fit. Got some if you want them
91mm Wossner piston, heaps lighter than std piston but is high comp' so I removed as much of the Dome as possible without weakening the piston, occasional low speed high load ping with premium so I just shift down when it happens.
If I ever pull the rocker box off again I'll make an insert for the cam that will extend through the plug which will be replaced with a seal so I can have a TDC firing stroke marker as it takes to long to find TDC with the auto decomp removing any feel from the first half of the kick start stroke.
Rear suspension standard 75mm loaded sag bottoms on moderate jumps, I'm 73kg + gear and heavy bum bag.
Front end up 67mm through the triples, you need to remount the front gaurd to get the angle right for the tyre to clear, just mess with the spacer order. Standard they poke up in the air. ATF in forks, I think 150mm from top but can't remember, won't be less than 150 as I run air pressure. 25psi in forks is too soft but is a good balance with the standard rear.
Much better bike than I imagined, 134kg total full of fuel 74 kg on the rear, starts first kick cold, second kick hot. Same weights as my steel tank KDX but doesn't jump flat (KDX jumps very good) always wants to go nose up, damping?
Except for the soft suspension there's more speed in the bike than I'll ever be able to use.
