My Cookardinia 2017 report
« on: September 18, 2017, 08:14:34 PM »
Well all I've got are some graphics from my gps. Self explanatory, so I'll explain them :) one just shows the loop which you can see is in two basic parts. We ran what I'd say is counter clockwise, the first loop going out thru open paddocks and a few gully sections, lots of fast open stuff and unless you were on a dkw pretty smooth terrain. the second section in close to the camp area had some tighter loamy single track often kept very very tight by the trees. Some steep climbs from slow turns in this section too.
One map is plain, the  other two colour coded for elevation and speed respectively.

Nice work Donny. My IT speedo is still pretty accurate. I got roughly the same Milege.

Great stuff guys.
The Missus is keen on having a go at Vinduro on her 82' XT200 so it was good to show her some Video footage of what to expect. I am so looking forward to the 2018 vinduro season and who knows maybe this year she might come out to Cooka for the day and have a crack as well.
