1977 Suzuki TS250
« on: March 29, 2016, 02:56:08 PM »
For sale: 1977 Suzuki TS250, family owned since new.

Condition is original with some marks and scratches and oxidisation. This bike had its origins in Papua New Guinea and has worked in Adelaide, Darwin and Melbourne and has travelled well for its age.

It is now on Club Reg as it doesn’t get ridden much and reluctantly we are letting it go.

Only minor modifications have been made to the bike over time, removal and replacement of chrome chain guard, speedo and tacho replaced, muffler heat shield replaced, and battery box modified to fit a new lithium 6v battery. All original parts come with the bike on sale. Also the original Owners Manual, import Certificate of Exemption from Compliance, Receipt of Sale, underseat toolkit.

The bike starts and runs well, has done collectively 17425.5 kilometres in 39 years across its two odometers. Used for commuting as well as weekend jaunts.

This would make a great Vinduro bike, or collectors item, or just a real head turner when you're riding down the street.

Price $4000. Inspection welcome in Mitcham VIC.
PM me for further info.

Very cool. I learnt to ride on the 125 when I was 15. Dad paid a lot less than what your chasing..how things change. .  . Good luck.
Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice.
