Pre 1990 rules
« on: January 13, 2018, 04:53:18 PM »
Hi, I have been looking around for a pre 1990 bike to ride vinduro. I swapped a phone with my Brother for a 1988 TT350 that he brought new back in 88. It was used as a mustering bike so servicing was none existent . Because this bike is going to be needing a lot of new parts. What I am woundering is how is the model of the bike checked? Is it of the compliance plate on the frame? Do I have to make sure all parts are pre 1988. These bikes look pretty much from 86 to 01. Is TT350 a good vinduro bike? I hate 2 stokes. A suspension place told me the TT350 had better suspension then the XR350 to improve?
Cheers

The rules vary from club to club, most states have their own cub so it depends on where you live. Once you work out your 'local' club it's probably worth seeking out their club's on-line forum/facebook presence and getting first hand info.
