Welllll long story for me... I had 2 x 1983 KDX200's. My wifes freinds boyfriend was a mechanic so i started working with him to fix one of the 200's motors (bottom end bearing). Anyway, life took over, we moved out of Sydney, my wifes friend and this guy split up, my old man died and we kinda lost touch for a couple of years (I would message him every 6 months or so).
Anyway time came and I have just gone to pick the bikes up and low and behold, there are no 200's anymore and I have a 1983 KDX250 frakenstien bike instead and he was very cagey saying he couldn't fix the other 2??? so he used parts to swap for 250 parts... needless to say I am sooooo pissed off as the 200s are a better bike and I loved them. Now i'm stuck with a 250 (albeit with a running motor). It has 2 disc brakes on it that I will need to swap back to drums if I want to vinduro it. My fault for leaving it so long I suppose.
Advice needed, should I just sell it and try to buy something else or are there enough 250 bits to get the bike back to viduro spec out there.
